The weather was just perfect for this event, and the crowds of people filling the streets made the most of the sunshine as they passed the time by eating, drinking, chatting, laughing, partying, singing and dancing the afternoon and evening away. And as if to show a benign interest in the crowd’s happiness and mental well-being, the England soccer team also rose to the occasion with a decisive victory over their opponents to ensure qualification for the knock out stages of this year’s World Cup.
