Terms and Conditions of Hire

Please remember that the Hall is a locally run, non-profit organisation that relies heavily on volunteers. If you leave a mess then one of us will have to clear up. Please, please leave the Hall as you find it - someone else may be using it straight after you. Make sure you have allowed enough time in your hire period to do this - 30 mins is about right for a kid’s party. We need you to:

  • wipe the tables with the cleaning stuff you find in the kitchen (our cleaner has a passion for the right products)
  • stack the chairs in the right place (not too high - they might fall over and kill someone)
  • take all your rubbish home with you (we don’t need rats!)
Also, please respect our neighbours. We're right in the middle of a residential area so be careful of noise, no illegal parking and keep the fun inside the Hall rather than spilling out. We get most of our complaints about this - and you will lose your deposit if this happens.

What Next?
Having a Look Round
You need to have had a look round the Hall at some stage because you’ll need to know some basic health and safety information - like where to find the fire exits and the accident book (we really want you to have a fun and SAFE time). We keep any hazardous poisons locked up so you don’t need to worry about them.

Getting In
The Hall manager will be in touch with details of how and when you can get a key.

PayPal is an easy way to pay for your booking.
Our bank details will be shown after you complete this form.
We prefer to receive money via PayPal or bank transfer but If you need to pay by cash or cheque, the safest way is to pop into the Hall.

Please give your bank name, account and sort code so that we know where to return the deposit.

What happens when I click the button below?
An e-mail with all your details will be sent to the Hall Manager. When they receive the e-mail and check all your details they will contact you to confirm, usually via e-mail. Bear in mind that the Hall Manager is not a fulltime position, so it may be a day or two.

You'll need to pay the hire amount plus the deposit so make a note of the total. We suggest you pay now as the booking cannot be 100% confirmed until payment has been received.
