An Evening of Poetry and Music

Poetry lovers and everybody touched by the inspired and selfless work of Médecins Sans Frontières are invited to this event which will include readings by a number of well known poets from the anthology ‘Poems for a Liminal Age’ which is published in support of the organisation.
The anthology is published by SPM Publications (Administrator Nnorom Azuonye) and edited by local writer Mandy Pannett.
The price is £15 of which 1/3 will go to the charity. A representative from Médecins Sans Frontières will attend the event and give a short talk on the work of the organisation.

Copies of ‘Poems for a Liminal Age’ will be on sale during the evening as well as publications by contributors.
Readers will include Richard Skinner, Vanessa Gebbie, John McCullough, Jackie Wills, Michaela Ridgway, Linda Black, Caron Freeborn, Kay Green, Anna Lunt, Spencer Edgar, Sarah Beckett, Caroline Maldonado, Celia Dixie, Judith Cair, Margaret Wilmot, Andie Lewenstein, Nick Cooke and others to be confirmed.
Music will be provided by ‘Rattlebag’ (Phil Gravett, Linda Hardcastle, Don Newport and Clare Nicholas) who will play an eclectic range of styles including Blues, Jazz and Folk.

Ticket sales (£5) will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières.
