Ceilidh Club at Exeter Street Hall

November 15, 2015 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Ceilidh Club at Exeter Street Hall

This is a monthly event for anyone interested in throwing themselves headlong into the joy of ceilidh dancing with new folks …who quickly become friends.

The first half of the evening will involve learning new dances and trying some new steps to build your confidence, with an emphasis on having fun rather than executing the steps perfectly.

The second part of the evening will be full on ceilidh dancing. Don’t worry if you’ve never danced before, we’ll explain everything as we go and have you whirling round the room in no time, leaving us all tired but happy and ready to have a well deserved drink with new friends and live music(!) at the Chimney House pub before you go home.

No need to bring a partner (although you’re very welcome to!) as there will be lots of people in the same boat and we all switch around during the evening anyway.

We’ll be dancing to recorded, rather than live music so that it’s easy to stop and start if required.

This is much more a ‘club’ than our other full on monthly Rant, but we think it’s a blooming’ great way to spend an evening and burn off a few calories…in time to replenish them afterwards at the pub! Please bring a bottle of water with you and wear comfortable clothes for jigging. Suitable for age 15+.
