Poi

Mook Skywalker has been practising poi (along with other circus skills) for nearly 7 years, trained in the art by poi passion. Now he brings his funky format to you, in a 4 week crash course.

Poi, (commonly two balls in long ‘socks’ spun in symmetrical patterns around the body) were once practised as an ancient art and fitness regime by the Maori Tribes in New Zealand, nowadays they are practised as a popular performance medium, mixed with a dab of fire or led, and even used as an aid to meditation and fitness – however you like your groove, come and learn a few moves and then get lost in the flow!

Moves covered
