Drawing on their fifteen years of taking theatre to village halls, Cartoon de Salvo’s new show The Powercut Compendium promises rural audiences their trademark mix of exceptional storytelling, gorgeous live music and swashbuckling adventure.
Cartoon de Salvo’s theatre wears its heart on its sleeve, likes an adventure and never forgets that the audience is the number one reason for putting on the show.
There’ll be tall tales from some unlikely characters with their own lessons to learn – wonderful live music, comedy, stuffed animals, hauntings and a love of wonder.
The Powercut Compendium is directed by Salvo Neil Haigh, designed by Salvo Alex Murdoch and performed by Neil, Alex and Joanna Robinson. The lighting design is by Colin Grenfell with newly commissioned compositions by composer and sound designer Daniel Marcus Clark. Song lyrics and story support is provided by Salvo Brian Logan.
