In Summer 2025 after extensive work and fundraising from our volunteers and supporters – many of you will remember the ‘Feeling Flush’ campaign – we were able to complete the refurbishment of our old, draughty and cold toilet block.
The roof of the existing block was removed and the internal walls etc demolished ready for new insulation & plumbing, a slight increase in height and new windows.
New storage spaces were created.
Shiny new sanitary wear, lighting, basins and handryers were installed. Partition walls were erected creating three spacious cubicles. One of the existing Hall doors was retained and repurposed. New flooring was installed and the block decorated throughout. Heating and ventilation was also included in the project
