Donating to Exeter Street Hall

We rely on donations to help us make improvements to the Hall. We have a number of projects we are working on, including our major current project: building a much-needed new toilet block.

As the cost of living rises, donations from those who can afford them help us to keep our prices low for our hirers and Hall users. Also, our energy costs have risen substantially: a donation would both give you a warm feeling and help to keep the Hall warm in winter.

Any amount, big or small, would be much appreciated, as would a regular donation. Regular donations give us a ‘base line’ income which we can use to calculate how much more we need to bring in to break even. If you make a regular donation you become a Friend of the Hall and can (if you so wish) be included in our list of regular supporters.

Thank you for your support!

Donate via our page at the Charities Aid Foundation

If you’ve seen our posters at the Hall and elsewhere you’ll know that there are different ways to help the Hall financially (cash or contactless donations, shopping using the Easyfundraising app, etc.). If you wish to donate from here, on our website, we recommend using the secure online donation platform provided for us by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

Click/tap on the orange ‘Donate’ button below to to go to our page on the CAF site and make either a one-off or a regular donation to the Hall. CAF makes the donation process easy and also allows you to Gift Aid your donations to us with a minimum of fuss. Gift Aid gives us an extra 25% from the government (if you’re a taxpayer), at no cost to you.

If you set up a regular donation this will be taken by direct debit. Should you wish to alter your direct debit amount, or indeed cancel the direct debit at any time in the future, you can do so either directly via your bank or by contacting us.

If you have any questions about donating to the Hall, or if you have any problems with the process, please send a message to [email protected].
