In 2017 we were awarded a grant of £36k by Veolia to complete our ‘access for all’ project which enabled people with access issues to use the Hall fully.
The total cost of the project was £44k with our awesome events volunteers raising the additional £8k.
The project comprised a new access ramp and accessible toilet.
We also built a lobby and corridor which provides separate access to the Community Room at the rear and also helps keep our energy bills down.
