The Prestonville Village Show

Prepare for a spectacular celebration! This year, in tandem with the much-anticipated Great Get Together, we are thrilled to unveil ‘The Prestonville Village Show’ — a lively showcase of creativity, community spirit, and friendly competition.

We warmly invite you all to dazzle us with your skills and imagination in the following exciting categories:

Best Jam Jar Summer Flower Arrangement: Create a beautiful arrangement in a jam (or any recycled!) jar using fresh summer flowers, foliage and greenery.  Judges will be looking for creativity, presentation and the spirit of the season.  Think elegant displays to wild cottage garden creations.

Best Decorated Vegetable: Transform a vegetable into a fun, silly or imaginative character or design.  Whether quirky, creative or hilarious, judges will be looking for originality, personality and creative flair.

Best Showstopping Victoria Sandwich: Bake and decorate a delicious Victoria Sponge worthy of centre stage.  Traditional or inventive judges will be looking for flavour, texture, presentation and showstopping appeal.  Please limit to 3 layers and use standard 7/8inch baking tins. Impress the judges with your baking brilliance and artistic flair!

To ensure everyone gets their moment in the spotlight, entries will be judged in these age groups:

• 4-6 years
• 7-11 Years
• 12-16 years
• 16 plus years

Bring your entries to the Hall between 9:30 and 10:30am on Saturday 2026 and let the fun begin! Winners will be revealed at 12:00, with prizes up for the best in each category and age group. Don’t miss your chance for glory and join us for a day packed with creativity, camaraderie, and celebration!
