Classes are based on Hatha yoga and include a mix of postures to build strength, and to improve flexibility, balance and mobility. Each class includes guided breathwork to enhance concentration and focus, and ends with a meditative relaxtion to leave you feeling grounded and centred.
Mixed-ability classes are non-competitive and suited to all levels. It doesn’t matter if you can’t touch your toes or do a headstand (although you are welcome to if you wish to)! If you are completely new to yoga, you might find it useful to join a beginners’ class initially in order to gain a solid grounding in the foundational postures (asana), breathing practices (pranayama) and relaxation.
